    Lomidat Village is 215 kms northwest of Lodwar. It has a population of 1,500 people who are mostly pastoralist. The topography of this village is featured by a chain of mountains from all sides and low valley in the middle. The community around the village is highly illiterate, hence the need for an Adult Literacy School. The area is characterized with cattle rustling. Another minor economic activity is charcoal burning.

    Church Progress:
    The church has a membership of 30 adults and 18 children who attend service on Sundays. They worship together under a tree.

    March 2020

    In March, Motivator Phanuel held only one church service, and 5 members attended. He is planning outreaches to 4 other villages in the future. Phanuel is grateful for the support and prayers that he receives from his sponsor.

    January 2020

    In January, Motivator Phanuel continued to share the Gospel again with the people in the nearby villages and 2 people accepted Christ. An average of 45 believers attended Sunday service each week, with 2 new members added. He is currently discipling 8 students. He is planning to visit the villages of Lokaburu, Nakulume and Teremkus to share the Gospel in the near future. These villages are between 5-6 miles from the mother church. Phanuel is grateful for the support and prayers that he receives from his sponsor.
