    Lomidat Village is 215 kms northwest of Lodwar. It has a population of 1500 people who are mostly pastoralist. The topography of this village is featured by a chain of mountains from all sides and low valley in the middle. The community around the village is highly illiterate, hence the need for an Adult Literacy School. The area is characterized with cattle rustling. Another minor economic activity is charcoal burning.

    Church Progress:

    The church has a membership of 30 adults and 18 children who attend service on Sunday. They worship under a tree.

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary Phanuel had an average of 26 believers attended Sunday service each week, with 2 new members. One person got saved this month. He is planning to visit the villages of Lokaburu, Nayanae-angitira, and Teremkus to share the Gospel in the near future. Phanuel is grateful for the support and prayers that he receives.

    June 2019

    In June, Missionary Phanuel ministered in the Lomidat Village. An average of 26 people attended Sunday service each week. He is planning on visiting the villages of Lokaburu, Nayanae-angitira, and Teremkus to share the Gospel in the near future. He prays for rain in Turkanaland, a shelter for worship to be built, and God to strengthen the believers. Phanuel is grateful for the support and prayers that he receives.
