    April 2019

    In April, Missionary Peter Ille reached the Esajait Village, and fellowshipped with 96 people. 25 souls got saved, and 17 were baptized. He disciples a class of 15 people. He prays for financial breakthrough to rehabilitate a handpump that will serve Lopengo’s school and community. 118 believers attended the church services this month. Peter is grateful for the continued prayers and support.

    In February, Missionary Peter Ille reached the Natabab Village, and fellowshipped with 60 people. 14 souls got saved. He disciples a class of 24 people. He prays for a financial breakthrough to rehabilitate a handpump that will serve the Lopengo Village’s school and community. 117 believers attended the church services this month. Peter is grateful for the continued prayers and support.


    January 2019

    Missionary Peter Ille is the pastor of the village of Lopongo. His average attendance for church in January was 136. They had three new converts in this month as well. They also did an outreach to the village of Natabab. He currently has 24 people attending discipleship classes. He has trained three others to serve with him doing evangelism. He is looking to do an outreach in Nabwel Ekorot in the future.

    Prayer Needs

    – Need for Bibles in the Turkana language

    – Support for the adopted children that are staying with Peter

    – Finances to repair Peter’s motorbike

    – Repairs for the water hand pump, so they can have safe water to drink

    – God to grow his daughter’s self confidence, to enable her to grow more independent, and for her medical needs to lessen

     

    Challenges

    – Lack of Turkana Bibles for students

    – Visitation to villages that have been reached is now hindered, due to broken down motorbike.

    – Community members are now affected by water-born diseases. They are teaching them how to boil water to make it safe.
