    A population of more than 480. Their economic activities are nomadic: pastoralists and farming, while some are doing small scale business. The village is known for general worship of idols under the control of demonic spirits in which the witch doctors are the mediums. Some common idols worshipped in the area are: stars, the moon, and charms. The villagers believe them as the source of life and protection.

    Church Progress:

    As a result of evangelizing/witnessing by missionary Peter Ekai Ekaal, the church enrollment is increasing rapidly. 12 adults, 10 youth, and 40 Sunday School children have given their lives to Christ and worship in the church regularly.

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel in the Village of Lomeyen, and 1 person accepted Christ. He disciples a class of 15 people. 349 people attended Sunday church services this month. He is looking to do an outreach to the Village of Kodopa. Peter is thankful for the support.

    In March, Missionary Peter Ekai reached the Lomeyen Village. He disciples a class of 10 people. He prays that the Lord ends the drought in all of Turkanaland. 332 people attended services this month. Peter is thankful for the support he receives each month.

    February 2019

    Missionary Peter is the pastor of the church in the village of Kibish, where the average attendance was 358 in February. He gained three new members this month. He did an outreach to the villages of Nakosmai and Komeyen, where two people gave their lives to Christ, and two were baptized. Ten people have joined Peter’s discipleship classes. Missionary Peter has one other person who has been trained to help him in his work of evangelism. He also ministers to the village of Nadipoe, where an average of 57 people meet for services.
