    The village has a population of 3000 inhabitants. It is known by forces of darkness including idol worshipping and belief of charms and amulets as a source of life protection.

    The economic activities of the Kariworeng village are charcoal burning and firewood collection.

    Church Progress:

    As a result of the evangelization of missionary John to the village, there are 45 members, 10 youth, and 60 Sunday school children.

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary John discipled a class of 10 people. 840 members attended Sunday services this month. John is grateful for the continued prayer and support that he receives.


    June 2019

    In June, Missionary John shared the Gospel with the villages of Manalongoria (pop. 217) and Kangipusa (pop. 220). He is discipling 10 people. 840 members attended Sunday services this month. John is grateful for the continued prayer and support that he receives.


    May 2019

    In May, Missionary John Ebei reached the villages of Manalongoria and Kangipusia where he ministered to 217 and 220 people, respectively. He disciples a class 10 people. An average of 845 people attended Sunday services in the mother and daughter churches. He prays that the Lord provides funds to construct the church and for security. John is grateful for the training he received in SIMI. He thanks the sponsor for their support and prayers.


    April 2019

    In April, Missionary John Lokiria had an average attendance of 157 people, with 5 new members added. 5 people were saved and baptized this month.

    In March, Missionary John Lokiria reached the Kangipusa Village, and 10 people were converted to Christianity. He disciples a class of 10 people. 261 members attended church services this month. Insecurity is a big challenge. John is grateful for the continued prayers and support.


    February 2019

    In February, the average attendance at the church in Kariworeng was 230. They did an outreach to the village of Manalongoria. There are 23 people enrolled in the discipleship classes. The church in Kangipusia had an average of 105 people, and the church at Manalongoria had 97 people.

    Missionary John Lokiria is the pastor of the church in Kariworeng, where the average church attendance is 155. They added 8 new members this month. They did an outreach to the village of Kangipusia, where 50 people gave their lives to Christ. There is now a church in Kangipusia. There are 10 people enrolled in the discipleship class.
