    A population of more than 800 nomadic pastoralists inhabit Nakurio Village. The village is known for general worship of idols under the control of demonic spirits, in which, witchdoctors are the mediums. Some common idols in the area are believed to be their source of life and protection. Their economic activities include nomadic pastoralists and farming.

     

    Church Progress:

    As a result of evangelizing and witnessing by Missionary Ewose Lokinei, 45 adults have given their lives to Christ. They worship regularly under a tree. The number of born again youth is 15, and there are 25 Sunday School children.

    May 2019

    In May, Missionary Ewose gained 1 new member in the church. He targets to reach the Kapetet Village in the near future, which is approximately 10 kms away.


    April 2019

    In April, Missionary Ewose gained 2 new members in the church. He disciples a class of 10 students, 7 of whom can freely testify to nonbelievers courageously. Ewose has 8 evangelists who are trained to help him in the ministry.


    March 2019

    In March, Missionary Ewose gained 3 new members in the church. An average of 84 believers attended service each Sunday.

    February 2019

    Missionary Ewose is the pastor of the church in Nakurio, where the average attendance at services in February was 46. They saw 2 new members join the church this month. They did an outreach to the village of Kairiama where four people accepted Christ. There are currently 10 people enrolled in the discipleship classes. Missionary Ewose has 8 elders who have been trained to help him in his work of evangelism to the area villages.
