    A population of more than 800, nomadic pastoralists inhabit NAKURIO village. The village is known for general worship of idols under the control of demonic spirits in which the doctor are the mediums. Some common idols in the area are believed as part of their source of life and protection. The economic activities of Nakurio village include nomadic pastoralists and farming. And one of the villages practices small scale business.

    Church Progress:

    As a result of evangelizing and witnessing by missionary Ewose Lokinei, 45 adults have given their lives to Christ. They worship regularly under tree. The number of born again youth is 15 and Sunday school children is 25.

    August 2019

    In August, Missionary Ewose shared the Gospel with 15 people in the Village of Kaekotorit and 2 people accepted Christ. He is discipling a class of 4 people. An average of 59 members attended church services this month. He is praying for a means of transportation for himself so that he can travel quicker between the villages in his area. Ewose is grateful for the support he receives.

    In July, Missionary Ewose shared the Gospel with 25 people in the Village of Kamide. He is discipling a class of 10 people. An average of 63 members attended church services this month. He is praying for a means of transportation for himself so that he can travel quicker between the villages in his area. Ewose is grateful for the support he receives.

    In June, Missionary Ewose shared the Gospel with 25 people in the Village of Kamide and three people accepted Christ. He is discipling a class of 10 people. An average of 68 members attended church services this month. He is praying for a means of transportation for himself so that he can travel quicker between the villages in his area. Ewose is grateful for the support he receives.


    February 2019

    Missionary Ewose is the pastor of the church in Nakurio where the average attendance at services in February were 46. They saw 2 new members join the church this month. They did an outreach to the village of Kairiama where four people accepted Christ. There are currently 10 people enrolled in the discipleship classes. Missionary Ewose has 8 elders who have been trained to help him in his work of evangelism to the area villages.
