    Apokorit has a population of 600 people who are pastoralists and fishermen of Lake Turkana. They like fishing and small scale.

    Church Progress:

    Upon the evangelistic approach by missionary Emmanuel in the village, he has 20 adult members, 15 youth, and 30 Sunday school children.

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary Emmanuel shared the Gospel again with the people of Ekwar Village (pop.300) and 1 person was saved. An average of 48 people attended church in this month. He is hoping to plant a church in the Village of Ekipetot in the future. Emmanuel is grateful for the continued prayers and support from his sponsor.

    In May, Missionary Emmanuel Kamais reached the Kerio Village. He targets the Ekipetot Village for future church planting. Emmanuel is grateful for the continued prayers and support he receives.

    In the month of February, Missionary Emmanuel’s average attendance in the church in Apokorit grew to 75, adding three new members.

    January 2019

    Missionary Emmanuel is the pastor at the church in Apokorit, where an average of 43 people attended services in January. He did an outreach to the village of Ekwae. He has three elders who have been trained to help him with evangelism in the nearby villages. He is planning on doing an outreach to the village of Ekipetot in the near future.
