    Population: 1500. Their economic activities include being fishermen and nomadic pastoralists in Lowarengak village. The village is known for general worship of witch craft and gods but some of them are Christians and worship the true God as their daily protector.

    Church Progress:

    As a result of evangelization/witnessing by Ekidor Ewoton Akoroto, a number of 100 in total are church members and enrollment is increasing rapidly.

     


    Updates from the field:

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary Ekidor  shared the Gospel in the Village of Nachukui village with 1500 people. 100 people accepted Christ and 90 were baptized. He is discipling 10 people. An average of 216 people attended Sunday service. He is hoping to visit Pirigan Village in the future to do an outreach. He gives thanks to the sponsor for the support.


    June 2019

    In June, Missionary Ekidor Akoroto shared the Gospel with 30 people in Nachukui village. He is currently discipling 10 people. An average of 203 people attended Sunday service. He is looking at visiting the Village of Pirigan in the near future. He gives thanks to the sponsor for the support.


    May 2019

    In May, Missionary Ekidor Akoroto reached the Nachukui Village, and 3 people came to Christ. 6 others were baptized. He disciples a class of 8 people. He prays for God’s grace and blessings in the ministry. An average of 203 believers attend Sunday service each week. He targets Pringan village. Jospeh is thankful for the support form his sponsor.

    In April, Missionary Ekidor Akoroto reached the Lowarengak Village (pop. 1600), where 80 people gave their lives to Jesus. He targets the Pringan Village. Ekidor gives thanks to his sponsor for the support.

    In March, Missionary Ekidor Akoroto reached the Lowoarengak Village (pop. 15,000), and 130 people gave their lives to Jesus. 80 believers were baptized. He disciples a class of 60 people, and 15 of them can freely witness or testify with others. He targets the Pringan Village. Ekidor gives thanks to the sponsor for their support.

    February 2019

    Missionary Ekidor serves the church in Lowarengak where an average of 62 people worshiped in February. Ekidor reported that 50 people were baptized this month and that four people are attending discipleship classes. He has seven elders that have been trained that are helping him with the work of evangelism. He also serves the village of Nachukui where an average of fifteen people to worship together. He is looking at doing an outreach in the village of Piringan in the near future.
