With a population of more than 250, their economic activities include nomadic pastoralists and farming, while some are doing small scale business. The village is known for general worship of idols under the control of demonic spirits in which the witch doctors are the mediums. Some common idols of worship in the area are the stars, moon, and charms. The villagers believe them as the source of life and protection.
As a result of evangelizing and witnessing by missionary EIPA EKAI NAKWAWI, the church members and enrollment are increasing rapidly. A number 250 adults have given their lives to Christ and worship together regularly. The number of born again youth is 15 and Sunday school children is 25.

In July, Missionary Eipa shared the Gospel again with the people in the Village of Kangole and 2 people gave their lives to Jesus. 324 believers gathered for service this month. Eipa prays for rainfall and is grateful for the support .
In June, Missionary Eipa shared the Gospel with 53 people in the Village of Kangole and 4 people gave their lives to Jesus. 327 believers gathered for service this month. Eipa prays for rainfall and is grateful for the support .
Missionary Eipa is the pastor of the church in Lokoyo where the average attendance at services this month was 172. 58 new members were added this month. They did an outreach to the village of Kangole and 30 people accepted Christ as Saviour. There are 8 people enrolled in the discipleship class. Missionary Eipa has two elders who have been trained to help him with doing evangelism in the nearby villages. He also serves the villages of Kaituko, Lorongat and Kongole where the combined attendance this month was 428. Two new members were added to these churches. Missionary Eipa plans on doing an outreach in the village of Kalopiria in the future.
