    Kataboi Village has a population of 2,500. They are pastoralists who have different ways of perceiving things. They believe in idol worship, witchcraft, and worshipping the moon. Others go to Catholic and Legions of Mary churches.

    Their economic activities include livestock and fishing.

     

    Church Progress:

    Daniel has put in tremendous effort and witnessed to 25 men, 35 women, 20 boys, 45 girls, and 37 Sunday School children.

    December 2019

    In December, Missionary Daniel continued to share the Gospel in the surrounding villages. An average of 102 members attended services in the four villages that Daniel serves. Two new members were added this month. He continues to pray for the construction of the church building and the need for clean water in his village.

    In July, Missionary Daniel shared the Gospel with the Village of Temokori. He is discipling a class of 5 members. An average of 164 members attended the main church this month. He continues to pray for the construction of the church building for his church.

    June 2019

    In June, Missionary Daniel shared the Gospel in the Village of Temokori, and three people accepted Christ. He is currently discipling a class of 7 members. An average of 155 members attend church each Sunday. He is praying for the construction of a church building.

    May 2019

    In May, Missionary Daniel had an average of 110 believers attend each Sunday in the mother church. He disciples a class of 6 members, 5 of whom can freely testify to nonbelievers courageously.

    – Strength to walk long distances to other villages

    – Spiritual growth of the church, especially in matters of unity

     

    Challenges

    – False doctrine and teachers affecting the spread of the Gospel in the area

    – High rate of illiteracy, which is slowing the activities of the church


    April 2019

    In April, Missionary Daniel had an average of 110 members attend service each Sunday in the mother church in Nasechabuin Village. 6 people gave their lives to Christ this month. Daniel has 4 evangelists trained to help him in the ministry.

    March 2019

    In March, Missionary Daniel Lobali discipled a class of 20 members. He prays for a latrine to be constructed in the church compound. An average of 79 members attended the church services  this month. Daniel is grateful for Share International.


    February 2019

    Missionary Daniel is the pastor of the church in Kibish and Nasechabuin, where the average attendance at services this month was 92. He has four elders that have been trained to help him with the work of evangelism in the area. He also serves the churches in Naregnewoi and Kataboi Town, where the combined attendance is 52.
