    A population of more than 500, their economic activities include nomadic pastoralists and farming, while some are doing small scale business in Locher Emeyen village. The village is known for general worship of idols under the control of demonic spirits in which the witch doctors are the mediums. Some common idols of worship in the area are the stars, moon, and charms. The villagers believe them as the source of life and protection.

    Church Progress:

    As a result of evangelization/witnessing by missionary David Ingolan, the church members and enrollment are increasing rapidly. A number of 45 adults, 55 youth, and 40 Sunday school children have given their lives to Christ and worship God regularly.

    In May, Missionary Ayengyeng lotoom ministered to 58 people in his village, and 14 people accepted Christ Jesus. He discipled 12 people. This month, 202 believers attended church services. Ayengyeng is thankful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    February 2019

    Missionary Ayengyeng is the pastor of the church in Lochoremeyen with an average worship attendance of 57. They added 11 new members this month. They had 17 people accept Christ and ten people enrolled in discipleship class. Ayengyeng has one other elder who has been trained to help him in his work of evangelism. He also serves the villages of Lochor Edome and Lochor Eskekon, where the combined attendance is 82. They had seven new members added to their churches this month.
