STORM 2017 Update July 10

We had a great day in Nariamao village. Our ministry teams presented the Gospel with great boldness and clarity. Many men, women and children made professions of faith. We will return tomorrow and go deeper into what it means to be a fully devoted disciple and a disciplemaker. We will also baptize new believers. Our pastor training was also great as our Bible Pathways and Big Life discipleship training hit their marks. Share is only as strong as its pastors/missionaries. We invest highly in them so that they can “equip the saints for service “. I couldn’t be prouder of our trainers and students. I think the Lord would say “well done, My good and faithful servants” concerning our work today. We do it all for His glory. Thanks for your prayers. We felt them today.

STORM 2017 Update

This young Turkana girl was just baptized in a water hole by Pastor Bob and Sammy. Isn’t her face/smile priceless? This is what it’s all about…sharing your faith with another, hearing them express their new faith in Christ and then baptizing them. Another lost soul now destined for eternity in Heaven!

2017 STORM Team Update

2017 STORM Team Update

Our U.S. and Turkana staff spent the past 10 days visiting, training, and ministering to the Share-supported missionaries, teachers, and SIMI students in three of the four major geographical ministry blocks in Turkanaland. The purpose of the ongoing training in the blocks is to enhance and ensure effective implementation of the new Block System by which the Share Vision and Strategy (see www.shareint.net) is being realized in the churches planted in remote villages all across Turkanaland. Attendance was nearly 100%!

The excitement with which the attendees expressed their feedback during the recap sessions was clear evidence the implementation of Share Vision has been caught and is taking root.

On Sunday, the U.S. staff and some of the senior leadership staff in the Turkana Office joined the worshippers in one of the villages where this year’s STORM team will be ministering in July. Sammy shared from the Word. We witnessed 15 people put their faith in Christ as Savior!

Your continued prayers and support for this ministry is bearing much fruit as the Gospel spreads all across Turkanaland. Thank you for allowing us to be your hands- and feet-extended right here in Turkanaland.

Share U.S. and Turkana Staff.
