A Missionary Receives a Motorbike to Ease Ministry Efforts

Recently Joesph Longole, one of our trained native missionaries received a motorbike through the generous support of a sponsor. Joseph planted a church in the village of Namukuse at the end of 2009, and he travels almost 12 and a half miles from where he lives to the church he serves full time. The desert he walks across is hot and sandy and full of dunes, making it impossible to use a bicycle to ease travel.  The temperatures are around 102 degrees on this trip that the missionary makes by foot, and by the time he reaches the village he is ministering to he is overheated and tired. Joseph Longole and his wife are so grateful to God for using Share International and its supporters to bless them with a motor bike to make their ministry travels easier.

Many of our missionaries are in need of transportation like a motorbike to ease their ministry efforts. A motorbike, the insurance and the transport from Nairobi costs about $2,200.
