Below is a letter from Daniel Ekai who has graduated from Children of the Kingdom and who was cared for through our program along with his 4 siblings (Peter, Paul, Lydia and Samson) after their parents died and left them as orphans. What a beautiful expression of gratitude for his time under the care of Share International.
Hello, receive Calvary greetings in Jesus’ name. I hope this finds you well and fine.
I am grateful for the good gifts that the faithful Lord has given to our very lives and for how far we have come as a family that has been under your care since we joined the dear sponsorship of Children of the Kingdom in 2005. We have seen great light in our life path. Through God’s love and favor, we have been able to go through our studies starting from elementary school, secondary school and now some are through with college.
I am so greatful for all support that the Children of the Kingdom gave to us as a family with care of our fostered parents Steve and Deneise Synstelien.
I really lack words to describe your love to us through out all those years of which also you have promised to extend working with us in all that it would take by supporting us with life advice to making us stronger in tackling life issues…..
It has been our wish to continue to serve with you through sharing our very lives and God’s word with those who are underprevilleged in the society to have the daily bread and spiritual word…….,With God’s favor and timing we promise to give back to the program. If not now, it will be when God’s time becomes perfect in making us stable in terms finances to serve the society financially and through our education.
I would like to pass my appreciation to Pastor Francis who became dear to us and who accepted that call of being our guardian throughout all that time. The other person i would like to say thank you is Pastor Joshua Lemuya for the moral support he gave to us during his time. Still once more I would like to say thank you to the current Children of the Kingdom and Share International adminstration for being there when we needed them.
The word of God says that; “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”. (Jeremiah 29:11).
At first we had nothing to count on, we were nothing, we thought our hope was lost but you came to our rescue and told us “you belong to us,come and be part of our family.” At the moment we had hope,we had direction, a place to call home, people to call parents, and people to lean on during hard time.
I remember Dr. Sammy Murimi asking me when I first met him,”Do you know how to read and write?” That was my first time to know that really very soon I would be going to school. I remembered wearing some clothes that looked so worn out that I looked like a street child who had lost hope. That day changed me and I was given sponsorship to go to school. I am so thankful and for that great and wise man of God and others who have impacted our dear lives.
I have nothing to pay back to you as payment for what you have done for us, but I am trusting that God is going to open all territories and boundaries for Share International ministries as a whole and make it known all over the world for the work you are doing.
